My story
I got my degree in Machine-building technology just after the communist bloc collapsed in Est-Europe. Factories closed down. As a freshly graduated, my chances to get a job became minimal.
Consequently, I had to find another profession. I am convinced that I have found my vocation. I have two passion, the numbers and helping others. Math and physics were my favorites in the school. One of the easiest ways to help others is to simply share my knowledge and find out what’s valuable to my customers. The key is to keep educating myself so I can stay ahead of the curve.
I have a great interest in helping special needs parents to focus on becoming entrepreneurs. I know how difficult it is for them to keep a full-time job.
I am a Chartered Professional Accountant (CGA) with over 20 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience. My experience comes from different industries such as construction, retail, and production. I also worked for two different Insolvency Trustees. Here I got a lot of experience in the reorganization and liquidation of different companies. I got an insight into what led to the insolvency of those companies and how this could have been avoided.
Since 2012, I have been working for a small public practice firm. I helped owners in their day to day activities, including bookkeeping, personal tax preparation, and year-end working paper preparation.
